Xenoplague can starve small empires with the doomday but it is otherwise not effective against larger ones. The backlash projectors are good for melee units in that it is an ability that triggers each time they are attacked and their pyrx missile launcher is pretty solid and even better than the vanguard option. Dvar have the best fire walkers which can heal large amounts of vital each turn. Vanguard have the best purifiers since they have a longer range repeating attack while the T2 is a supporting unit to shield non syndicate players. Secret tech wise Promethean has a good offensive doomsday applying choking which gives a massive -25% to enemy damage and accuracy. Assembly have awesome snipers while their late game T3/T4 are very solid and they get a mod that revives dead units if you win the battle giving them good sustain which combos well with summoned troops like plasmoids.
Vanguard have solid T1 with early mods and some good supporting calldowns from the get go while their laser tank is pretty solid mid to late game.
Do not talk about their promethian combo. Syndicate is weak in naval battles but can get extreme evasion with void tech. Syndicate gets the awesome psytech drive and their T1 have a good base range with stun and chain options lmid game while their supporting units can ignore armour and shield or mind control and ressurect. Their mid game naval unit can summon periodically making it one of the strongest. Amazon with Celestian and Growth NPC can be extremely tanky if they go arboreans or if psynumbra can get mass rooting maldictors. Kirko have poor T1 units but good snipers from the start and early medium range artillery with splash for mass disable/sprouting growth while their T4 is a good mass buffer. Bulwarks are their cookie cutter with good damage but poor accuracy until you get the range and splash gun mods while later on they get high range and splash armour chewing artillery and a pretty solid T4. All races have their strengths and weaknesses especially when combined with different secret techs.ĭvar lack healing without NPCs/secret techs and their best units are end game but are some of the best.
